Gil Hibben's GOLD Warbirds for sale!

Gil Hibben's "Warbirds" for sale!

The following pair of INCREDIBLE knives is up for sale:

Gil Hibben's Gold Warbirds, matched set of both Bowie and Dagger, manufactured in 1994 as a limited-issue series of 1000 collector's sets.

This set is #69 of 1000 manufactured, and is in high demand, especially for those pairs numbered under 250...and this set is within the first 100 made!

You can't see it well in the pic, (click the pic for a better view!) but each blade is engraved with 0069/1000, as is the medallion on the genuine wood display plaque, which, has been hand-signed by Gil Hibben (the designer) himself!

These are NOT cheap, by any means, and are for the discerning collector who knows what he's getting! If you're looking for ultra-high-quality collector's pieces, THESE ARE DEFINITELY THE ONES!

Please keep in mind that these knives are GOLD! It's not an anodized aluminum coating, or even a golden-looking titanium-nitride finish, but REAL GOLD!

These knives will never be manufactured again! This may be your last chance to own a pair of these incredible collectible knives yourself!

SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY NEED APPLY.

Please feel free to shoot by my web site for more information, or just to kill some time. ;)

Web Site updates

Just updated some pages on my web site!

Added some links to cycle shops in the area...
Robinson Harley-Davidson in Wheatley (WELL worth the ride to get there!) and Bob's Motorsports in Chatham.

Sonic Cycle Salvage, which is a well-reknowned bike boneyard, for those who've cracked up their bikes, or just need a part and don't want to pay retail for it.

My personal site is located at http://BigScaryBiker.Owns.it for those who want to check it out!

Make sure you hit AshaFX, too! She's a rather talented graphic artist, and you're sure to find something interesting while you're there!

The Gizmo Project

Michael Robertson, best known for his work on MP3.COM, Linspire (nee: Lindows, prior to Bill Gates' deciding that he was going to crush another company) and SIP Phone, has recently gotten into Skype's face with the Gizmo Project.

The Gizmo Project is aimed directly at Skype on a feature-by-feature basis, but using standards-based design, rather than a proprietary locked-in system that ONLY Skype has a potential to benefit from. VOIP "should" be open to everyone, and Gizmo is designed towards that end. To be honest, that's the main feature that will push it over the top in the end, I'm sure.

It's beta at the moment, but well worth looking into. You'll be AMAZED at the call quality--even over a 56k dialup connection!

Now, you'll need a mic and speakers to be able to use it, but most folks have those on hand already. For those that don't, they've already tested some out, and offer links to recommended products at http://www.gizmoproject.com/accessories.html

First things first, of course...You've got to get a copy!

Check out their web site for more information at: http://www.gizmoproject.com/

Aside: Since "Gizmo" is merely a working title, they're accepting suggestions for a new name for the system once it's out of beta. I've submitted "IMaculate" myself and it's been accepted, but the final word isn't out on whose suggestion will eventually be made permanent. Feel free to think up and submit a new name yourself!
