We Have to Declare Our "Independence" Again

We Have to Declare Our "Independence" Again
by Shah Gilani

Happy Independence Day, America!

Just one problem. We're not truly independent here. Not even close.

Crony capitalists control Congress, the President, and his administration, while the Federal Reserve controls our banking system and our once-free markets.

We're certainly not free, either. The Bill of Rights has been trampled to within an inch of its life. Haven't you been paying attention? After the AP Scandal... the IRS debacle... the mass secret surveillance program leaked by Edward Snowden... drone strikes on our own citizens... there's almost nothing left intact among those "inalienable" rights.

And don't even get me started on our leaders in Washington...

Well, at least we're free to be bound and manipulated by our own people, instead of a foreign power.

That's democracy, folks.

Oh, wait a minute, we don't have to put up with this crap. Isn't that what the Declaration of Independence was all about?

Hawthorne, Ca Police Kill Dog(1)

How much longer do we allow OUR EMPLOYEES to target us for doing nothing wrong, and kill our pets, our children, and ourselves, before we FINALLY put a stop to it?

How much more evidence do we need before we understand that OUR EMPLOYEES don't even consider us as human any more?

How much more evidence do we need to see that if we can be arrested and our pets, children or ourselves, can be shot in broad daylight FOR DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG...that it's TIME TO PUT A STOP TO THIS ONCE AND FOR ALL?

There was a time in the not too distant past where we were able to trust OUR EMPLOYEES to do what is right.

That time is gone.

It will continue to get worse the longer we refuse to address the problem.

Gold: A Case of Overreaction? - "For Pete's Sake" w/ Peter Hug of Kitco.com

Published on Jun 24, 2013
Kitco.com's Peter Hug dicusses falling gold and silver prices w/ Daniela Cambone at the 2013 International Precious Metals Institute's (IPMI) Annual Conference. According to Hug, it may be an "opportune time to buy physical coins and bars." Hug also says global central banks are fighting "deflation rather than inflation," and he doesn't expect any changes from the Fed until 2014. Due to the deflationary concern globally, precious metals will continue under pressure short term. Kitco News, June 24, 2013.
